[Macau, 20 November 2012] – To celebrate SKY 21’s first anniversary, our eight master chefs have concocted a variety of distinctive pan-Asian cuisine from Japanese, Indian to Vietnamese to whet your appetite. As a token of appreciation of your support for the past year, SKY 21 offers a complimentary specialty entree to four customers dining together. The offer is valid from now until 14 December 2012.
Steven Ying is our Japanese chef with more than 20 years’ experience and is known for his meticulous preparation of the Japanese cuisine. "I choose ingredients that are fresh and in season to ensure that our guests can enjoy the freshest dishes from fish, sea urchins to scallops, which we airlift from Japan at least three times a week. Even our rice is imported from Japan,” said Steven. SKY 21 also plans to launch Japanese hot pot SHABU SHABU with fresh vegetables, seafood and beef.
Duong grew up in the mountains of northern Vietnam and he is SKY 21’s Vietnamese chef with 11 years of experience. He was the chef of the royal dishes in the Hanoi Sofitel Hotel. He found in Macau many of the Vietnamese restaurants very different from the authentic traditional Vietnamese cuisine and decided to make a difference for his guests in SKY 21. "Nothing is taken lightly. I use a lot of pork, bones and chicken and simmer them for at least three hours to produce a premium stock," Duong said. Patrons to SKY 21 can taste the full range of traditional royal dishes prepared by Duong.
Soban honed his culinary skills through his apprenticeship with his father, who served as one of the royal chefs of the Taj Mahal. He is SKY 21’s unique Indian chef. "You can enjoy the colour, flavour and taste authentic Indian curry in SKY 21. Indian food is known for the richness of spice and I use more than 20 different spices to concoct the unique flavour,” Soban said proudly. He strongly recommended his Masala Boneless Sea bass as a must.
Book your table early to enjoy the unrivaled scenic beauty of SKY 21 while savouring the Pan-Asian cuisine prepared by our eight chefs, and we will top it all with our free anniversary specialty entrees to make it an unforgettable evening for you and your dining companions.
